Checking out
football ’Bows
online is a snap

In pre-Internet days a football fan could get by with just watching the game. Not anymore. If you aren't wired, you can't really be a fan.

To restore fans to their full fanatical side before tomorrow's University of Hawaii football game, check out http://www.hawaii.rivals.com.

There are chat lines, message boards, videos of potential UH Rainbow recruits and stats on every player.

That's not all: The site includes "the enemy camp," a series of links to all of the Web sites for UH football opponents.

The UH site is put together by Rivals.com, the Internet company sponsoring the college all-star Hula Bowl, which will be held Jan. 22 on Maui.

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
