Murrell rushes
for 72 yards

Adrian Murrell (Leilehua) was back in the Arizona Cardinals' starting lineup as they beat Dallas, 13-9, at home.

Murrell, who did not start last week against Detroit, carried 17 times for 72 yards and caught three short passes for nine yards.

He was involved in a play that put the Cardinals ahead, 9-7.

On 2nd-and-8 at the Cowboys' 21, quarterback Dave Brown handed to Murrell, who pitched back to Brown. Brown passed to Rob Moore, who went all the way for the touchdown.

In the Carolina Panthers' 31-17 victory over Cleveland, defensive tackle Esera Tuaolo (Kailua) had two tackles.

In Tennessee's 16-10 victory over Pittsbugh, Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (St. Louis) made the first tackle of the game. Fuamatu-Ma'afala stopped Derrick Mason at the Titans 26 on the kickoff return.

Olin Kreutz (St. Louis) started his 11th straight game at center for the Chicago Bears, who defeated San Diego, 23-20.

In Cincinnati's 34-31 loss to Baltimore, reserve nose tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen (Molokai) made five tackles (four solo).
