Margaret E. Amanti, 91, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired registered nurse, died Sunday at home. She was born in St. John New Brunswick, Canada. She is survived by daughter Josephine Piltz, brother Omar Galey, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Donations suggested to North Hawaii Hospice.

Siu Quon Chee, 82, of Honolulu, who retired from Hon Kung Restaurant, died Saturday in St. Francis-West Hospice. She was born in Canton, China. She is survived by sons Alan Y.W. and Alvin Y.C. Private services.

Emily I. "Lee" Cox, 86, of Kailua-Kona, a retired hairdressing teacher, died July 4 in Kona Community Hospital. She was also a professional secretary. She was born in Chicago. She is survived by sisters Rosemary Garon, Florence Chruscielski and Josie Demorachi, and brothers Bernard and Joseph Egan. Memorial services: 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Keauhou Bay in Kona. Robert W. Galbraith, 54, of Mililani, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, died Tuesday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Bernie Jay; daughters Laura Raynes and Sarah and Martha Galbraith; sons Stanley and Keith Rivera; mother Dorothy; brother Ted Gray; sisters Shirley Galbraith and Debbie Yokum; and four grandchildren. Iglicerio C. Guieb, 87, of Honolulu, a carpenter at Hickam Air Force Base, died Oct. 8. He was born in Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Evelyn S. Kadoyama, 91, of Wailuku, a retired nurse supervisor for Malulani and Maui Memorial Hospital, died Sunday in Maui Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lahaina. She is survived by husband Tadayoshi, son Glen, daughter Gladys Fujii, brothers Paul and Benjamin Yamada, four grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Private services.

Sose C. Lafitaga, 62, of Waimanalo, a retired custodian at the Honolulu Airport, died Wednesday. She was born in Satitoa, Western Samoa. She is survived by husband Liona; sons Milton, Liona Jr., David, Vea and Vaga; daughters Dorothy and Tiffany; brothers Tala, Sua and Saofafo Masoli; sisters Len Olive and Shaniu Tupuola; and 15 grandchildren. Anastacio E. Mena, 86, of Kailua, a retired supervisor with Lone Star Construction, died Oct. 20 in Honolulu. He was born in the Philippines. Charles T. "Chuck" Powers, 70, of Kona, Hawaii, a retired chief estimator for Keauhou Kona Construction Corp., died Saturday in Kona Community Hospital. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was born in Worster, Mass. He is survived by wife Linda Lee, daughters Julie Fonda and Erin C. Powers, and two grandchildren. George H. Tokuyama, 77, of Honolulu, a retired research statistician and Vital Records Section Registrar General for the state Department of Health, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lorraine, sons Greg Marshall and Russell Curtis, daughter Marcia Ena Omura, brothers Robert and George, sisters Rose Tokuyama and Margaret Nozawa, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
