Herbert Kozo Aoki, 70, of Honolulu, a retired painter, died Thursday at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mary; daughters Darleen Miyasato and Rhonda Chong; sisters Florence Miyasaki, Adora Nakamura and June Omiya, and three grandchildren. Service: 6 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.

Isidro Cacalda Cabico, 93, of Waipahu, died Sept. 12 at St. Francis West Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by daughter Gliceria Oliver; sons Oscar and Domingo, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday at Nuuanu Mortuary and 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Church. Call after 6 p.m. Friday and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.

Bernardino Evangelista Daquioag, 88, of Honolulu, died Sept. 3 at Maluhia Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Valentina; children Delly Palafox, Hermelita Monte, Abraham, Ruben and Blanche Ann Daquioag-Ebert, 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Stanley Shigeo Irahara, 88, of Honolulu, a retired maintenance worker at the Kaimuki Regional Library, died Sept. 16. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Haruko; daughters Alice Iraha-Goo and Janet; brothers Masao, Tommy and Kenneth; sister Katherine, and two grandchildren. Services were private.

George Mata Sr., 73, of Honolulu, a retired bus driver, died Sept. 20 at Queen's Hospital. He was born in South Hilo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Lucy; sons George Jr. and Gary; daughters Patricia and Kimberly; brothers Walter, Larry and Tommy; sisters Dolly, Gloria Dela Cruz, Peggy Paningsoro and Barbara Camacho and six grandchildren. Service: 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 11:30 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.

Frank Katsuji Mizokawa, 70, of Aiea, retired from the Air Force and Pearl Harbor, died Friday at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Marcia; sons John and Alan; daughter Janet Mikasa; stepsons Robert and Gregg Humel, and 14 grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Larry Teruo Nakata, 81, of Honolulu, a retired deputy sheriff, died Sept. 19 at home. He was born on Molokai. He is survived by wife Helen; 10 children, three brothers; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were private.

Julius Kolomona "Mona" Paia, 61, of Sacramento, CA, died Tuesday in Sacramento. He was born in Lihue, Kauai. He is survived by wife Takeko; son Jim Wilhelm; daughters Mona and Stephanie; mother Eleanor; brothers William and Peter Opulauoho; sisters Roberta Okimoto, Kaye Wood, Napua Knight, Karen Kanoho and Arde Yamashita, and two grandchildren. Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday at Star of the Sea Church. Call after 9 a.m. Inurment: 10 a.m. Friday at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Aloha attire.

Annie H. Wong, 92, of Waimanalo, a retired secretary with Castle & Cooke, died Sept. 20 at Castle Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Stephen; sisters Florence Lum, Margaret Lau and Bertha Baptiste; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services: 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Burial: 10:45 a.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park Cemetery. Casual attire.
