Norman "Skip" Judwin, 53, of Honolulu, died Tuesday. He was born In Nova Scotia. He is survived by wife Janet. Services were private. Donations in his memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at 1314 S. King St., Suite 305, Honolulu, HI 96814.

Jean Tanabe Kong, 83, of Honolulu, a retired kitchen helper, died Aug. 9 at home. She was born in Heeia. She is survived by daughter Jeanne Vitela; brother Joe Fujimoto; sisters Koyo Wasa and Gertrude Morishige, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were private,

Agnes Tsuyako Nakano, 80, of Aiea, a retired Honolulu Lithograph Co. label printer, died Aug. 15 at Kaiser Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Donald; daughers Karen Awazu and Janice Shinjo; brothers Norio and William Koga, and four grandchildren. Services were private.

Sumako Ota, 82, of Hilo, a housewife, died Wednesday at Hilo hospital. She was born in Olaa, Hawaii. She is survived by son Stanley; daughters Helen Murobayashi, Alice Murakami, Ruth Masaki, and Ethel Nonaka; brother Kaoru Yamamoto, sister Tsuyako Maki, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Magdalena Catekista San Nicolas, 85, of Wahiawa, died Wednesday. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Mariano and Felipe Jr.; daughters Dolores Hood, Priscilla Dangaran and Antoinette Manibusan; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Call after 8:30 a.m. Burial:11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire.

Tomiko Takahara, 92, of Honolulu, died Aug. 13 at Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Okinawa. She is survived by son Kagehiro; daughter Lynne Yoshiko Nakasone, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Chiyeko Tanoue, 79, of Honolulu, a retired Diamond Bakery clerk, died Aug. 10 at Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Russellm and sisters Sumie Masaki and Kazue Kondo. Services were private.

Clara Sumi Uchida, 71, of Honolulu, a retired Internal Revenue Service clerk, died Aug.11 at Maunalani Nursing Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sisters Jane Nishimura and Aileen. Services were private.

Teiji Yoshiba, 77, of Pearl City, a retired carpenter, died Aug. 14 at home. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Betty; son Gary; daughters Christine Medeiros and Gail Miyahira; brother Soichi; sisters Aiko Nishiyama and Tsuyako Tober, and six grandchildren. Services were private.
