Oahu commuters can ride the newly extended CityExpress! bus route for free from Monday through Saturday next week.

It's the city's way of drawing riders to the Route A bus, which will run from University Avenue to Pearlridge beginning Monday. The route began last year running only from the University of Hawaii at Manoa to Middle Street.

The CityExpress! route has only 18 stops either way thus reducing the time for traversing the entire route by a third.
