It'll be "Ben Watch" on "Baywatch Hawaii" later this month when Gov. Ben Cayetano makes a cameo appearance -- and his acting debut -- on the world's most-watched syndicated show.

Cayetano will do scenes with "Baywatch Hawaii" star David Hasselhoff in an episode called "Risk to Death."

Filming is scheduled for Aug. 23 at the Haleiwa Surf Center, where the governor --in character -- inspects the Surf Center and welcomes lifeguards to the new "world-class" training center.

The episode will be Hasselhoff's last for the show's initial season in Hawaii. The star appears in 14 of 22 shows this season, with an option to return next year.

The "Baywatch" production company is building a second-story "set" on the city's surf center to be used as the fictional "Top Gun" lifeguard training center.

Cayetano, who will be eligible for minimum pay of $596 for his appearance on the show, may have several lines of dialogue in the afternoon filming.
