Spectacular Waipahu fire

Firefighters last night were able to contain a brush fire that burned
up to the back fence of Waipahu Intermediate School. Three engines
and a tanker responded to the 6:10 p.m. blaze. It was brought under
control at 7:52 p.m. No damage to school property was reported.
