Campus radio station
can be heard online

For years, the student-run campus radio station at the University of Hawaii at Manoa -- KTUH-FM -- has been promised a new transmitter to improve its signal.

While they wait for state bureaucrats to finish the paperwork, the students have put the station on the Internet.

By dialing up http://ktuh.hawaii.edu, you can keep up with the eclectic mix of blues, Hawaiian, reggae, jazz, rock and funk broadcast from Manoa Valley.

You will need a "RealPlayer" plug-in to listen, but it is available without charge on the KTUH Internet Web page.

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
