Joining Kaiser Permanente's legal family

Keith A. Lee will handle all legal matters in Hawaii for Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, including risk management, workers' compensation, contract administration and Medicare contract compliance.

"I came here because in my first interviews, with six of the 12 people I supervise, they said we are a family, this is the best job, we're best friends and we care about each other."

He has 14 years of legal experience and most recently was corporate secretary and corporate counsel at The Queen Emma Foundation. Lee also worked five years as a corporate lawyer at Cades Schutte Fleming & Wright.

Lee earned a bachelor's degree in political science/American studies from the University of Michigan and his law and master's of business administration degrees from the University of Chicago.

He is on the boards of Kiwanis Club of Honolulu, Native Hawaiian Legal Corp., and East Oahu Chinese School.
