Marla Kelly is going after group sales for the meetings, conventions and incentives department for the four Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki. They are the Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Princess Kaiulani and the Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotels. She currently is traveling on the mainland.

"We have a telemarking project with a team out of Chicago, and I am also going to a Starwood event in San Diego as well as some sales calls in Los Angeles," Kelly said.

For the last three years she was director of sales for the Sheraton Moana Surfrider. Kelly also worked at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, the Hyatt Regency Hilton Head in South Carolina, and the Deer Valley Ski Resort and other resorts at Park City, Utah.

"We did adventure tourism with hot air ballooning and sleigh rides," she said.

She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo.
