Making an imprint
at Hagadone Printing

Morris Fujimoto oversees all aspects of printing production at Hagadone Printing Co., one of the state's largest commercial printing companies.

Fujimoto reports directly to General Manager Edwin Hudelist.

"He has the experience, skills and thoroughness you need from your production manager, so it's great to have him on board," Hudelist said.

Fujimoto has more than 30 years in printing and most recently was plant supervisor at Pioneer Venture. He joined the company in 1995 as a pressman. He began his career as a pressman while serving four years in the Air Force in Massachusetts and then came back to Hawaii to take a job with Tongg Publishing Co. in 1968. "I tried to retire in 1995," Fujimoto said. But he came back to printing at Pioneer Venture.

Hagadone Printing was established in 1995 and acquired Harbor Graphics in the fall of 1998. Hagadone is based at 274 Puuhale Road in Kalihi and employs about 135 people.
