Isle memorials for Kennedy Jr. By Mary Adamski Star-Bulletin Island residents who want to send their condolences to the Kennedy and Bessette families may sign memorial logbooks at Borthwick Mortuary branches throughout the state. The funeral company also will distribute memorial folders with a list of organizations the families have designated for donations. No money will be accepted here, said Mark Gabriella, Borthwick location manager. "Our organization thought it would be appropriate for families in the state of Hawaii to come together to share their support and aloha and condolences," Gabriella said. The memorial books are open for signatures until 3 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, the final day. They will be available at the 1330 Maunakea St. funeral home and at Borthwick branches on Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. Donations in memory of John F. Kennedy Jr. may be sent to U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy, Office 315, Russell Senate Office Building, U.S. Senate, Washington, D.C. 20510. Memorials for Carolyn Bessette Kennedy should be sent to Kids in Crisis, 1 Salem St., Cos Cob, Conn. 06807. Donations in memory of Lauren Bessette may go to the Lauren G.
