Focusing on customers
at American Savings

Yolette Nishimoto has been promoted to assistant vice president of the Mililani Town Center branch of American Savings Bank.

"Our primary focus is customer service," Nishimoto said. "We want to retain customers and grow the customer base. We have terrific products for business and can help with investments and insurance."

She has more than 30 years of banking experience and joined American Savings in 1997. She also was vice president and branch manager for seven years at Bank of America and worked for 23 years at Hawaii National Bank.

Nishimoto is a board member of the Rotary Club of Mililani Sunrise and a member of the Mililani Shopping Center Association, Junior Achievement and Project Self Esteem for Mililani Waena Elementary School, which deals with personal relationships.

"We make the students feel good about themselves," Nishimoto said.
