Managing First Hawaiian's
Big Isle branches

First Hawaiian Bank has named Winston K. H. Chow, a senior vice president, as the bank's regional manager for its eight branches on the Big Island.

He replaces Thomas P. Whittemore, who has been named a trustee for Parker Ranch.

"The branches will be getting much more into retail organization (financial services for individuals and small businesses) with a focus on sales and service," Chow said.

He has 24 years in banking and was manager of the bank's retail real estate loan division. Chow also has worked as executive vice president of First Hawaiian Creditcorp, which merged into First Hawaiian Bank in 1998.

Chow is a graduate of St. Louis High School and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University of Hawaii.

He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Honolulu Board of Realtors and past board member for the Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corp. and Hawaii Developers Council.
