Change of command

There was a change of command yesterday at the U.S. Coast Guard's
Integrated Support Command on Sand Island. In attendance were,
from left above, outgoing commander Capt. Frank Whipple; Rear
Admiral Joseph McClelland Jr.; incoming commander Capt. Gilbert
J. Kanazawa (also pictured below); and Lt. Cmdr. Travis Phillips,
district chaplain. Whipple is transferring to Alameda, Calif., to
become chief of the Maritime Safety Division for the Coast
Guard Pacific Area.
