Former St. Louis School and Hawaii Pacific star Benny Agbayani hit a home run that helped the Mets beat the Pirates. He also kept his batting average at - and this is not a mistake - .500. Since his May 12 callup, he is 20-for-40 with four homers, eight RBIs, two doubles and two triples. "He's not going to hit .500, we know that," Mets' manager Bobby Valentine said. "But he's having good at-bats. He knows he's here and he wants to stay here. I'll be very disappointed if he lets his guard down."
