The University of Hawaii men's basketball team received its second letter of intent yesterday when 6-foot-8 Salt Lake Community College forward Troy Ostler faxed his signature.

Ostler averaged 14 points per game, eight rebounds and led the Scenic West Athletic Conference in blocked shots (2.0).

His coach, Norm Parrish, said Ostler has played center but usually started at power forward.

Earlier this week, the Rainbows signed 6-5 Weatherford College (Texas) guard-forward Nerijus Puida.
