Overseeing property
for Aloha Airlines

Edmund Ilagan will be responsible for looking after Aloha Airlines' corporate real estate and airport properties.

This includes analysis of Aloha's airport and general office facility maintenance requirements; managing all planning, design and construction of new facilities; and looking after the property management program.

"One of my biggest challenges is to work with the state Department of Transportation and other airlines to develop ideas that will further improve Hawaii's airport system," Ilagan said.

He has more than six years experience in construction and project management and most recently was director of property operations for Sheraton Maui Hotel. He also worked for Allied Builders System and Mitsunaga & Associates Inc.

Ilagan earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Hawaii. After the university, he worked for two years as a nuclear engineer at Pearl Harbor.
