Kailua High’s Web
site is a winner

What school has the coolest Web site? According to Education World, an Internet service sponsored by Cisco Systems, the best school Web page in the country comes from Kailua High School, http://kailuahs.k12.hi.us/.

The student webmasters have a tradition of winning, their four-year-old Internet site was voted the No. 1 school site for an international school competition held by the Discovery Channel.

The new Cool School award is given for the best use of technology, use of on-line curriculum and value to students.

Kailua High School even includes the school newspaper online.

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
