Seattle might not be where you would turn to find out about things going on in Honolulu, but a stop by SCRAAL, the Seattle Contemporary Review of Asian American Literature, http://www.scraal.com, is worthwhile.

There you will find an interesting Web page that this month features Hawaii author Lois-Ann Yamanaka. You can hear Yamanaka read portions of her new book, "Heads by Harry," and listen to an interview as she discusses the similarities between Asian-American writers here and on the mainland.
