HPU sweeps
West Liberty

Kaina McCallum drove in seven runs for Hawaii Pacific in a college baseball doubleheader sweep of West Liberty State yesterday at Hans L'Orange Field.

McCallum had two hits and drove in two runs in the opener, which the Sea Warriors won, 13-1. He had another two hits and drove in five in the second game, won by Hawaii Pacific, 12-6.

The Sea Warriors (22-6) have won 10 straight. West Liberty State fell to 0-4.

ISHIGO PACES SHERIDAN: Corey Ishigo had four hits, including a three-run home run and a triple. to lead Sheridan to a 7-4 win over Ewa in AJA baseball playoff action yesterday at Ala Wai Field.

Ryan Matsuda hit a three-run homer and Ryan Fujitani had a two-run shot as Kaneohe beat McCully, 9-6.

BALLARD FIFTH: Hawaii's Rochelle Ballard tied for fifth in the Women's Billabog Pro yesterday at Queensland, Australia, while Megan Abubo tied or ninth.

Serena Brooke of Australia won the title.
