Okinawa are on display at the Hawaii Okinawa Center in
Waipio Gentry. The center's library has historical and
cultural materials on Okinawa and Okinawans. Below,
Volunteer Doris Murai stands behind a model of a
backstrap loom or jibata. This type of loom
is still used on Okinawa today.
