Bullet "Can You Write Just One Good Paragraph?": The Program to Preserve Hawaiian Place Names offers $100 to the winner of its Annual Memorial Contest. Topic is: "My Favorite Hawaiian Place Name." Entries must be typed on one side of a single 8-1/2-by-11 inch paper with author's name and address at the bottom of the page. No word limit. All Hawaiian words must be spelled with glottal stops and macrons, following the standard references published by the University of Hawaii. Wrong spellings will disqualify entries.
