a new look"We have recently installed a new computer and software system that is Y2K compliant; moved our Maui branch from Kahului to a newly refurbished building in Waikapu; renovated and constructed new offices at our Iwilei facility; relocated our environmental services division to Iwilei; opened an environmental services office in Tokyo, Japan; and acquired Food Quality Labs (Honolulu and Portland)," Kono said.
She has been with Brewer Environmental Industries for 11 years and most recently was director of marketing and sales. Kono also worked in California as a financial analyst for Gilroy Foods Inc. and Intel Corp. She is vice chairwoman of the Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaii, and one of 22 members of the Pacific Century Fellows Leadership Program.
