


St. Louis School receiver Anthony Arceneaux has decided to join his older brother, quarterback Darnell, at the University of Utah. Arceneaux picks Utah;
will join his brotherThe Arceneaux family said yesterday that the younger brother had made a verbal commitment to the Utes.
Anthony Arceneaux played on the last three Oahu Prep Bowl championship teams with St. Louis. Darnell Arceneaux, who is the Utes' starting quarterback, led the Crusaders to three straight Oahu Prep Bowl titles early this decade.
TENNIS CLASSES OFFERED: USA Tennis 1-2-3 will be offering aerobic and regular tennis classes for adults and teens at the Ala Moana Tennis Center.
Classes will be offered for adult and teen beginners as well as advanced and intermediate beginners.
Teens wishing to join the adult program must be 13 years old.
Classes are limited to only the first 10 registered students and will be offered during the morning and evening hours.
Registration dates are January 13, 1999 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and January 14-15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the tennis office located next to court number one on the ewa end of McCoy Pavilion. Classes cost adults and teens $18 for six weeks--$3 per class. All classes start the week of Jan. 25, 1999.

CANOE RACES: The sixth annual Hinano/Ocean Club Lanikai Cold Pack Classic one- and two-person canoe races will be held Saturday at Lanikai Beach.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. on race day and an entry fee of $5 and a 12 pack of whatever you drink will be charged. The women's race begins around 10 a.m., followed by the men at approximately 11:30.
Eight divisions of paddlers will negotiate either a short 4-mile course or a long course of approximately six miles. Paddlers will be divided into divisions ranging from two novice divisions to a 60-plus division.
