Bullet Louis K. “Malu” Bush, 76, of Hoolehua, Molokai, died Dec. 5 in Molokai General Hospital. He was born in Pearl City. He is survived by daughters Diane Kaliloa and Louise and Barbara Ann Bush; son Louis; brother Daniel; hanai son Roland Kim; hanai daughters Zelinda Ann Melekahi and Royal Albino; eight grandchildren; hanai grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kalamaula. Call after 9 a.m. Burial: Kanakaloloa Cemetery.

Bullet Gregorio G. Calairo, 88, of Kaunakakai, Molokai, died Tuesday at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Clara; daughters Corinne Young Jr., Rufina Solomon and Clarita “Nani” Kai; sons Gregorio “Bulla” Jr., Audwin, Kervin and Dino; brother Paulo; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. today at Kalaiakamanu Hou Church hall. Call after 8:30 a.m. Burial: Kapaakea Cemetery.

Bullet Walter I. Ito, 50, of Hilo, Hawaii, a cane cutter for the former Ookala Sugar Co., died Nov. 17 in Hilo Hospital. He was born in Ookala, Hawaii. He is survived by caregivers Debra Fronda and Tony Hensley. Services: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Waiakea Villas hotel lobby. Call after 6 p.m. Casual attire.

Bullet John A. Laird, 90, of Honolulu, owner of Dolfinger's retail store in Louisville, Ky., died Dec. 5. He was born in Cincinnati. He is survived by daughters Dr. Judith Meyer and Helen Robertson; and four grandchildren. Services: 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Arcadia Retirement Residence. No flowers. Donations suggested to Hawaii Family Support Center.

Bullet Jose “Filipino Joe” Sandobal, 61, of Kaneohe, a retired mason formerly with Fletcher Pacific, died Tuesday in Castle Hospital. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by wife April; sons Jarrod, Jose Jr., Benjamin, Michael, Dennis, Wendell and Rodney; daughters Jaime Lyn, LeAnn Pieper, Giselle Rezantes and Jodie Pifer; 30 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kaneohe First Ward, Waikalua Chapel. Call from 5 to 9 p.m. Inurnment: Noon Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Bullet Richard E. “Rick” Taylor, 44, of Minnesota died Oct. 12. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jennifer, sister Marti T. Frensley, brothers Russ and Bill, and son R.J. Memorial services: 6 p.m. Monday at Calvary by the Sea. Scattering of ashes to follow. Aloha attire.

ipBullet Alice H. Yamashita, 64, of Honolulu, a retired bookkeeper for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Hospital, died Monday in Queen's Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Edward M.; sons Wesley M. and Gary; brothers Seiye, Hitoshi, Tasuke, Stanley and Frank Higa; sisters Helen Velasco, Doris Adres, Dorothy Nakagawa and Geraldine Horiuchi; and two grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.
