Sri Chinmoy Centers International is sponsoring a concert at 7 p.m. today at the Ala Wai Golf Course Club House. Sri Chinmoy, a philosopher and composer dedicated to world peace, has performed more than 500 Peace Concerts globally. He appeared in Hawaii twice before, in 1990 and 1993. The concert is free. Tomorrow is the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run. The relay is part of a process that has been ongoing since 1987. Everyone is invited to "take a step for peace" by carrying the Peace Torch on part of its journey around Oahu.
