Calling all
collectors
With more than 100 dealers from Oahu, the neighbor islands and the mainland, the Honolulu Holiday Antiques and Collectibles Show will likely have something to interest almost anyone. Running 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall, the show will feature military insignia, jewelry, Japanese netsuke, Hawaiiana, antique buttons, vintage clothing, antique furniture and more.
"Hawaii Five-O" fans will want to view the original car driven by series star Jack Lord and the original "Five-O" badge. Replica badges will be sold to benefit the Variety School of Hawaii and the Honolulu Police Relief Association. Information about the Jan. 22 "Hawaii Five-O" anniversary celebration will also be available.
USS Missouri-themed items will also be on display. Sales of battleship Missouri caps, shirts, mugs, books, key chains and such will help fund the continuing restoration of the Mighty Mo.
Admission to the show is $3.50; $2.50 for those with coupons or a copy of the advertisement of the show from this paper tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
