He has five years in marketing and most recently was with the Hong Kong Tourist Association in Los Angeles as its national marketing manager for The Americas.
Deegan also was regional account director for DDB Needham Worldwide, in Hong Kong and Asia, and senior account executive at Peck Sims Mueller Inc. in Honolulu from 1991 to 1994, where he worked on hotel and restaurant accounts. He earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Pennsylvania State University in 1988.
