CLEMSON'S GLOVER GOLF VICTOR: Clemson's Lucas Glover shot a 73 yesterday for a 54-hole total of 213 to take individual honors and lead the Tigers to the team title in the Mauna Kea Resort Invitational college golf tournament on the Big Island's Hapuna course.
Shane Hoshino of Hawaii-Hilo was second, three strokes behind Glover after a closing 71. Hawaii's Jarrod Mizusawa had a 73--222, good for seventh place.
The Rainbows and Vulcans finished 5-6 in the team standings.
VOLLEYBALL BRAZIL-STYLE: A beach volleyball doubles tournament sponsored by the Brazilian Futevolei Club, Island-X Hawaii and Ka'alehe Travel & Tours will be held Sunday at the Queen's Surf Sandbox, starting at 9 a.m.

RACQUETBALL/SQUASH TOURNEY: The entry deadline is today for the Honolulu Club's 1998 Holiday Squash and Racquetball Tournament, to be played Friday-Sunday, Dec. 4-6.
Play starts at 5 p.m. on Friday. The format is single-elimination with a consolation bracket.
