David Daley will supervise food operations at the 837-room Pacific Beach Hotel, part of the HTH Corp. hotel chain. He will provide long-range planning at the hotel's Oceanarium, Neptune Gardens and Shogun restaurants as well as the banquet and catering departments.

"We're going to step up efforts to market to local business meetings and catering," Daley said.

He has more than 16 years experience in the hospitality industry, most recently with American General Hospitality as food and beverage director for the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Phoenix. Daley also worked for Harrah's Casinos and was involved in the openings of various Native American and Riverboat division casinos.

Daley heard about the HTH Corp. forming a new management team and was eager to come to Hawaii. "This is the opportunity of a lifetime," he said.
