Loomis, Bahouth
join forces

The Loomis Inc. marketing and advertising agency has formed a new public relations branch operated by Candy Bahouth, owner of Bahouth Public Relations.

Bahouth, who has operated her own company on Kauai since 1991, has moved to Honolulu and taken space as "an associate" in the Loomis offices at 450 Piikoi St.

"Communications for businesses has become very complex," Bahouth said. "To meet clients' needs we need to look at a wide range of services (including public relations)."

She came from Sacramento, Calif., to Kauai in 1983, worked in sales for the Waiohai Resort, and was administrative assistant to former Kauai Mayor Tony Kunimura. She also was executive director of the Coconut Coast Visitor Association, and worked in public relations on Oahu, before returning to Kauai to form her own company.
