Andrews, Holma
take tennis titles

Dave Andrews and Petra Holma won the men's and women's titles in the Honolulu Open Grand Prix tennis tournament yesterday on the Diamond Head courts.

Andrews, an Aloha Airlines pilot, rallied to defeat UH law student Jason Oliver, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, in the men's final. Holma, a UH player, beat Connie Zepeda, 6-2, 6-4, for the women's crown.

Andrew Zsordas and Chris Leong won the men's doubles title. Sisters Jennifer and Kristy Oshita took women's doubles honors.

MOYNAHAN, BOHN WIN: The Kapalua team of Brendan Moynahan and Doug Bohn won the Aloha Section PGA Head Pro-Assistant Championship yesterday at Kaanapali's North Course on Maui after a two-hole playoff.

They were tied with a 36-hole total of 136 with Makena's Howard Kihune and Brian Sasada. Both teams birdied the first playoff hole.

SOCCER HONORS: Hawaii Pacific seniors Cesar Jube and Claus Peterson and BYU-Hawaii junior Jeremy Yourgason have been selected on the All-Pacific West Conference men's soccer team by PacWest coaches and HPU sophomore Tracie Ifuky has been named to the all-conference women's team.
