Directing finance
for HTH Corp.

Richard Kido will direct all finance operations at the HTH Corp., formed in 1975 to consolidate the Hawaii-based corporations and business enterprises of H.T. Hayashi.

The HTH hotel group consists of the Pacific Beach Hotel, Pagoda Hotel and the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel.

"I'm just excited to be part of a new management team," Kido said. "Corrine Hayashi is president and B. Clyde Billman is our new operations director."

Kido has 25 years of accounting experience and for the past five years has operated his own business. He also worked for the McCormack Corp. as a controller, and for Castle and Cooke Properties Inc. as vice president and controller. From 1990 to 1993, he worked for the Lanai Co. Inc. Kido earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Michigan State. He is an adjunct instructor at Hawaii Pacific University and a lecturer at Leeward Community College.
