Workshop to teach
Internet business

Just in time for some Christmas cash comes the University of Hawaii's Department of Decision Sciences, which is organizing a one-day workshop to teach you "key strategic concepts and essential management skills and tools to conduct their business in electronic markets."

The conference will be held Dec. 7 at the Manoa campus.

You can register via the Internet at the UH's electronic commerce site: http://ec.cba.hawaii.edu.

Local Internet business experts leading the discussion will be: Mary Fastenau, managing director of StarrTech Interactive, a division of Starr Seigle Communications; Lonnie Hardesty, owner of Proteas of Hawai'i; Karen Tom, Internet marketing director of Bank of Hawaii; Martha Jones, owner-broker of Century 21 Homefinders of Hawaii; Lisa Tojo, director of marketing communications of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts; and Bill Sthay, vice president of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts.
