Hilton Resorts Hawaii has named Sonja Swenson to a new position to gain national, international and local publicity for its three resorts in Hawaii: the Hilton Hawaiian Village; Hilton Turtle Bay Golf and Tennis Resort, and the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Hilton Resorts Hawaii

Changes include construction of the Kalia tower and possibly a lagoon snorkeling project at Hilton Hawaiian Village and renovations at the Turtle Bay resort.
She has five years of public relations experience in Hawaii, and most recently was senior account executive at Stryker Weiner Associates.
Swenson studied Japanese language and culture, and taught English in Fukuoka, Japan, from 1992-94. She grew up in Makakilo, then moved to Florida after high school.
