Warren T. Sato has joined SSFM Engineers Inc. as the company expands its role as manager of planning and engineering projects . Managing projects for
SSFM Engineers"For the last four years, the company has been developing a project management group," Sato said. The group of four project managers deal with the project scope, its budget and scheduling.
New projects include work for the Navy and Oceanic Institute.
Sato has nearly 30 years in engineering and most recently was head of the planning branch in the public building, planning and construction division at the City and County of Honolulu. He also worked for the state Department of Accounting and General Services and as a partner with Pacific Planning & Engineering Inc.
Sato earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from University of Hawaii. He also is a licensed structural engineer.
