

City officials are asking for help in naming the new environmental half-fish, half-human "superhero" mascot portrayed by comedian Frank De Lima. What kine goofy fish 'dis, anyway?
The "Help Name Oahu's New Super Hero Contest" runs through Oct. 31 and is open to Hawaii residents over 14, and military personnel. A prize awaits the winner.
Entry blanks are available at selected Satellite City Halls, golf courses, the Honolulu Zoo, city recreation centers, McDonald's restaurants and Aloha gas stations.
Those with computers can print out the entry form from the city's web site at www.co.honolulu.hi.us and mail it to the address on the form by the deadline.
You may also test your "Water Quality Knowledge" in a contest/survey continuing through Oct. 31. Answers do not have to be correct to win prizes such as airline tickets, dinners, Atlantis Adventures, weekend getaways, and more.
