Boosting tourism for
Oahu Visitors Bureau

Stacey Martin has been chosen to help boost westbound tourist sales for the Oahu Visitors Bureau using a new sales plan.

"The sales plan will be extremely pro-active in suggesting new and innovative sales approaches to all sellers (travel agents) of Oahu tourism," Martin said.

She has seven years experience in the travel and visitor industry and most recently was marketing coordinator for the Oahu Visitors Bureau.

Martin started her career with Mondotels, a hotel and destination sales and marketing company in New York.

Her accounts included the Nice Convention & Visitors Bureau, L'Horset Hotels of France, Lido de France, Manapany Cottages in St. Barts and Mango Bay Resort in Virgin Gorda.

She joined New York's Sofitel International Hotels in 1993 and came to Hawaii in 1997 to join the Oahu Visitors Bureau.
