Janet Jackson brings her Velvet Rope World Tour to Aloha Stadium in her Hawaii debut Jan 30.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance go on sale 9 a.m. Saturday at the Aloha Stadium box office, Blaisdell box office, Connection outlets and select military locations. Seats are $65, $45, and $35. About 34,000 tickets are available for the concert, said promoter Tom Moffatt.

The Hawaii stop is the last of Jackson's American tour which began this summer. She arrives in Hawaii after performances in Australia and Japan.

Staging for the special effects-laden concert takes about four days to load in but must be out by Feb. 1 so the National Football League can prepare the stadium for the next weekend's Pro Bowl game.

No additional concerts will be added to the Hawaii visit because there is not enough time on either end of the schedule, Moffatt said. The promoter had wanted to bring the Jackson concert in November but high school football games made that unworkable.

Michael Jackson, Janet's brother, performed at Aloha Stadium in January 1996.

The Janet Jackson concert has spurred a unique five-day, four-night "Janet Jackson in Paradise" tour package Jan. 28 to Feb. 30 for members of the Friends of Janet fan club. The package includes seats, a luau, souvenir package and ground transportation to and from the concert and the luau. The cost is $599, double occupancy, airfare not included. Reserve by Dec. 4 at 415-575-6677.

Sprint Hawaii is the concert's presenting sponsor.
