Leading the way for
Hawaii's Realtors

Helen Lindemann takes over leadership of the Hawaii Association of Realtors as it improves communications with an expanded Web site (www.hawaiirealtors.com) for its 5,500 members.

"Members can see what the (legislative) issues are and see how the votes were taken," Lindemann said.

"The Web site has a calendar of events and members can tell us what their concerns are."

The association also plans five, shorter "miniconventions" in June/July for each local board instead of one big state convention.

Lindemann has 20 years in real estate and currently is vice president at The Prudential Locations and branch manager for the company's Waialae office.

Lindemann was named state Realtor of the Year in 1993 and was president of the Honolulu Board of Realtors in 1996.
