Norman A. Blanchette, 79, of Honolulu died Wednesday in the Center for Aging. Born in Alberta, Canada, he is survived by sister Cecil Schaub; brother Grant; and niece Sister Marilyn Blanchette. Services: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Burial at the Hawaii State Veteran Cemetery, Kaneohe.

Rosalie C. Butement, 88, of Honolulu, a retired cook for Maryknoll fathers and brothers in Hawaii, died Saturday at home. Born in Highland, Kan., she is survived by daughter Sally. KC Estabilio, 15, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a student at Pahoa High School, died Sunday in Hilo Hospital. Born in Hilo, he is survived by father Jon "Duke"; mother Janice Goo; brothers Jon Jr. and Jermaine; sisters Kuulei and Dristin; maternal grandparents Alan and Hale Goo; and paternal grandmother Violet Ramirez. Ruby N. Hamada, 70, of Honolulu, a retired Blaisdell Center box office cashier and mother of state Sen. Randall Y. Iwase, died last Thursday in QueenÕs Hospital. Born in Honolulu, she is also survived by husband Bruce S.; son Bruce T. Hamada; daughters Larene H. Iwase, Richie H. Hamada and Rissa T. Miyasato, brother Charles M. Hamasaki; sisters Pearl K. Oliver M. Kikukawa, 70, of Kaunakakai died Sept. 30 in Molokai General Hospital.
