


WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Kapalua's Dick McClean fired a final-round 72 to finish tied for third in the PGA Senior Club Pro Championship golf tournament yesterday. McClean ties

Senior Club ProMcClean had a four-round total of 286, two strokes behind winner Wes Smith, of Cooper City, Fla., who shot a 68 on the final day.
Tommy Price of Hickory N.C., was second with a 285.
McClean tied with Michael Zinni of Mankato, Minn. They each won $8,250.
PRINCE WINS PLAYOFF: Dean Prince won a three-way sudden deal playoff with Kevin Hayashi and Howard Kihune to take the title at yesterday's Pro Tour Hawaii golf tournament at Makalena Golf Course.
All three golfers shot 69. Prince took the $1,000 first-place money and Hayashi and Kihune won $600.
SEA WARRIORS WIN: Debbie Sant'Anna had 19 kills and hit .517 as the Hawaii Pacific women's volleyball team swept UH-Hilo, 15-9, 15-9, 15-9, yesterday at St. Andrew's Priory.
The Sea Warriors, ranked 12th among NCAA Division II teams, improved to 12-1 overall and 5-1 in PacWest play. The Vulcans are 7-7 and 2-2.
