Ronald T. Kikumoto manages the 216-room Holiday Inn SunSpree at Waialua, Kauai, which opened in April as a Holiday Inn after an extensive renovation of the Waialua Resort. Holiday Inn gave it the SunSpree rating in July. Catering to families at

The Waialua resort includes 13 cottages being refurbished, which will open at the end of November, he said.
Kikumoto has more than 20 years of tourism experience and most recently was director of operations at the Bay Club at Waikoloa, a time-share resort.
He also held management positions at the Ala Moana Hotel, Aston Coral Reef and Aston Island Colony, Pacific Grand and Discovery Bay, Pacific Holiday and for the HTH Corp. at the Pacific Beach Hotel and Pagoda Hotel.
