Kapi'olani Community College
A kimono fashion show is part of
Monday's moonrise event.

Put on your kimono,
and view the moon

Watch the full moon rising over Koko Head. Hear the melody of a shakuhachi, the wistfulness of the koto, and savor the serenity of a tea ceremony.

These events are part of "Moonrise Over Maunalua Bay," a moon-viewing event hosted by the Board of Student Publications at Kapi'olani Community College, beginning 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Chef instructors of KCC's Culinary Arts Program will prepare dinner and Saison des Brides for Watabe will present a kimono fashion show. Floral arrangements by Sogetsu International in vases designed by artist Kauka de Silva will be up for bid in a silent auction.

Tickets are $40, $20 tax deductible. Call the Kap'iolani Development Office, 734-9570.
