Fletcher Pacific Construction Co. Ltd. has named Brian Hedge as its chief financial officer. The company recently got contracts to build a Home Depot store and a public works depot at Schofield Barracks.

"It's a pleasure to come to a nice climate and a nice business climate," Hedge said. "I've thrown away all my ties."

He has worked more than 17 years for the company and most recently was finance director for Fletcher Construction Australia Ltd. Hedge also was vice president of finance and administration for Fletcher Construction Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, and finance and administration manager for the engineering division of Fletcher Construction Co. He earned a degree in finance from the Auckland Technical Institute.

Fletcher Pacific Construction Co. Ltd., based in Honolulu with offices on Guam and Saipan, employs more than 800 persons.
