Pursuing Asian sales
for Princeville Resort

The 252-room Princeville Resort on Kauai has chosen Arlynne Norimoto to go after Asian sales.

The resort will get a $3.5 million renovation of rooms and public areas starting in early 1999 with completion in mid-2000. "We've just finished painting the exterior," Norimoto said.

She has 22 years of industry experience and since 1993 has directed Japanese sales, marketing and advertising for the Westin Maui.

Norimoto started her career with Kintetsu International Express as a tour coordinator.

She also worked as sales manager for the former Westin Ilikai Hotel, international sales manager for the Halekulani Hotel and general manager of the Coconut Inn.

She earned a degree in Far Eastern studies and history from Sophia University in Japan.
