Marketing the
expansion of PixiNet

Peter Van Zile takes over marketing and sales for Pacific Information Exchange Inc. (PixiNet) as the Internet service provider forms new strategic alliances with Aloha Airlines, KITV, Internet Research Corp. and Voicestream Wireless.

"PixiNet is expanding very rapidly into all areas of Internet business, not only dial-up but also business-to-business services," Van Zile said.

He has 20 years of business experience and recently was marketing director at Courier Corp. of Hawaii.

Van Zile also worked for Systems Concept Inc., the Hawaii Newspaper Agency computer department and Attache Software Inc. in Ann Arbor, Mich. He earned bachelor's degrees in computer science from the University of Hawaii, and mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina. PixiNet began providing Internet access services in 1994.
