Native Hawaiian chamber
elects leader

Ronald K. Jarrett has been elected president of the 200-member Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.

"We have our business expo coming up, probably in the first quarter next year," Jarrett said.

"It lets our members showcase their products. It's open to the public."

The chamber's annual awards presentation will be held in April.

He is president of Jarrett Technology Solutions Inc., a computer network and telecommunication equipment supplier based in Kailua.

The company, formed in 1984, is a distributor of high-tech equipment to federal and state governments.

Jarrett grew up in Huntington Beach, Calif., and earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of California at Irvine.
